Chariots Of Fire (1981)

The tale of the British track athletes of the roaring twenties is told with detail of their personal convictions such as how they honor their God or should I say honour...I'm so cheeky. Kewl insider's view of how to run efficiently and reduce your time. It does suffer from that elitist, stuffy kind of thing from time to time. CHARIOTS OF FIRE is similar to THE RIGHT STUFF with not as much impact. Perhaps the Olympic memories do not die hard. [4.3 stars]
