The Fugitive (1993)

A man kills a surgeon's (Harrison Ford) wife but we can't tell who did it. The surgeon is convicted of doing it but he escapes from possible prison life due to a bus crash. A United States Marshal (Tommy Lee Jones) hunts him down for the rest of the film while clues suggesting that someone else did it show up as the chase ensues. A very kewl scene at the dam makes for gripping cinema. THE FUGITIVE has superb writing for Jones' character and a plot that does not stray which makes this a model for man on-the-run films. I have a soft spot for Harrison Ford movies since he plays men who are like me. [4.8 stars]
