A story with a tight plot having terrorism at its heart--and how the government (USA of course) deals with it post 911. The greatness of RENDITION is its wide focus. We see things from the prison camp perspective, from the CIA's point-of-view, from the mother's perspective and even from the perspective of a person who may turn to violence as a solution. Now things get a bit crowded but I thought the kewl intersecting points of view near the end tricks you into seeing the motivation of the characters differently. Is it one character or more than one character you perceive differently? I like it for forcing me to examine the people in the story again--and even myself and how I was judging the characters--and it leads viewers to re-think what they just saw, not every film has the skill to do that.
