The Bourne Supremacy (2004)

This has such a good look to it and so skilled that it takes you back to what were considered great films in the day and you can't help think what an evolution has occurred. They make films so much better these days. An amnesic American spy is attacked and has his girlfriend shot dead.  He doggedly pursues (to real locations mind you) leads as to who is behind this but runs into the spooks from the CIA who think he has blown a mission of theirs but don't know he was framed. The action is superb with the clever Jason Bourne fending away danger at every turn. The fight scenes are shown with quick edits making you dizzy but keep you glued to the outcome. THE BOURNE SUPREMACY is slick and Bourne turns out to be a kewl guy and not some cold-blooded machine that the ending is satisfying and we still wish to see more. [4.3 stars]
